IntroductionPocket Money is the complete handheld financial management tool for your Palm OS device. With Pocket Money you can track expenses on the road or at home. Track all your expense and income items when and where it is convenient with unlimited accounts, categories, sub and sub-categories and payees. Export data in common database, spreadsheet and desktop financial application formats. InstallationRun the Pocket Money Installer and follow the on screen instructions. You will be required to HotSync your handheld to complete the installation. The installer installs the following files:
Registration and Technical SupportWhen you launch Pocket Money you will be prompted to enter a serial number or to run in Trial mode. You may run the software for 15-days in full-functioning Trial mode. The Trial software and Registered software are identical. Once the trial period ends you must purchase and enter a serial number to continue using the software. You do not need to re-install the software. Simply enter a serial number and your Trial version will be converted into a Registered version. To purchase a product serial number, please visit our web site at www.handmark.com. Registration Once you purchase Pocket Money, please register online at: www.handmark.com/register. Registering makes you eligible for free email technical support and for early notification when new product releases become available. Feature Overview
Pocket Money UsageTo begin using Handmark PocketMoney, simply tap the PocketMoney icon on your application screen. Enter your product serial number on the serial number screen and you're ready to use PocketMoney. Begin by setting up Accounts. You can create as many accounts as needed using the Account screen. When Pocket Money is first launched, tap New to create a new account. Once you create accounts, they appear on the Pocket Money main screen. Tap the information button that appears next to each account to open the Account Info screen. The '+' indicates that the account listed is included in the Total Worth Calculation. The Total Worth Calculation appears at the bottom of the screen and is the sum of the balances of all accounts. The Register screen provides a list of transactions. Register is the easiest way to view your entries, get fast access to a specific transaction, and clear a large number of transactions at once. Enter the transaction screen by tapping the account name or balance on the main Pocket Money screen. To create a new transaction, simply tap New to enter the Transaction screen. Fill out the slip to record Deposits, Withdrawals, and Transfers. When you are finished, tap OK. To edit a transaction, tap the transaction and the Edit Transaction screen appears. Make your changes, then press OK. Pocket Money is rich with other features.
